We are located in Sakumono, Tema, Ghana, and operate this site to share information about the hotel and to receive booking and contact enquiries.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit a booking request or contact message, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, phone number, email address, your requested dates, room preference, number of guests, and any notes or special requests you choose to share.

We do not operate user accounts, and we do not take or store any payment or card details on this website. Any payment is arranged directly with the hotel.

Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. This is used in aggregate to understand and improve the site.

How we use your information

• To respond to your booking requests and enquiries and to confirm availability with you.
• To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, or email about your request, using the contact method you indicate.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information.

How your information is handled

Booking and contact details submitted through the site are recorded in a private spreadsheet accessible only to authorised hotel staff, and notification emails are sent to the hotel (and a confirmation to you) through our email provider. These third-party services (Google, our email provider) process the data on our behalf to deliver the service.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and, where enabled, to understand site usage.

To measure how the site is used we use Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity. These tools help us see aggregate traffic and which pages and actions lead to enquiries; we configure them to collect site-usage data only — never your name, phone number, email, booking notes, or booking reference.

Analytics is off until you agree. On your first visit we show a cookie banner and default all analytics consent to denied. Until you choose "Accept", Google Analytics runs only in a limited, cookieless mode (no analytics cookies are stored) and Microsoft Clarity does not load at all. If you choose "Accept", these tools load fully and may set cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, or through your browser settings. These analytics tools are not used on our staff dashboard or content-management pages.

Retention

We keep booking and enquiry information only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records — normally up to one year (365 days) from when you submitted it — after which it is deleted or anonymised. We may keep it longer only where the law requires.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided to us by contacting us using the details below. We may need to retain certain information where we have a legal obligation to do so.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
